2025 Hinds County Sheriff’s Citizen Academy
The goal of the Sheriff’s Citizen Academy is to increase understanding between citizens and the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office and to enhance the relationship with the community.

Taste of Mississippi 2025
Taste of Mississippi is a tasting event that offers culinary delights from fabulous area restaurants and beverages from local distributors. All proceeds from Taste of Mississippi benefit Stewpot Community Services.

Georgetown & Mid City Community Cleanup
Georgetown and Mid City, in partnership with Keep Jackson Beautiful, are cleaning up 1046 Woodrow Wilson Avenue, a dumping ground where trash has piled up due to neglect and illegal dumping.

2025 Sweetness 5K Run/Walk
This event aims to increase obesity awareness in Mississippi and promote physical activity in the community with a concentrated effort on the youth.
