National Night Out
Please join Mississippi State Capitol Police on October 1, 2024, as they host the Multi-Agency National Night Out! Multiple law enforcement agencies will participate in this year’s event.
Fondren Block Party
Experience the revival of the first Thursday in Fondren with the family-oriented Fondren Block Party, lead by Swell-O-Phonic owner, Chane. The event is centered on State Street by a host of great participating merchants from The Pig & Pint to Green Ghost Tacos and everything in-between (Fondren Corner / The Bean and The Capri /The Station). Bring your (friendly) dogs and friends and have a great time! These events will be HIGHLY SECURED and controlled by our partners from Quality Security Company, JPD, and Capitol Police.
Fondren Block Party is sponsored by C Spire, Fondren BID, Swell-O-Phonic, The Bean & participating Fondren merchants.

Coffee and Conversations: Mid City Monthly Community Meeting

Residents of Mid City or not, join us the first Saturday of every month for 'Coffee and Conversation' - a monthly gathering to discuss how to improve Mid City.
In past 'Coffee and Conversation,' we've discussed beautification projects, cleanups, infrastructure and park improvements, and better lighting.
