The boundaries of Englewood are: McDowell Road (North), I-55 Frontage Road (East), Daniel Lake Boulevard (South), and Terry Road (West).

The boundaries of Elton Woods are: Misty Cove (North), Elton Woods E Drive (East), Elton Road (South), and Terry Road (West).

The boundaries of Eastbrooke are: Eastbrooke Street (North), Eastbrooke Street (East), Lakeland Drive (South), and Lakeland Lane (West).

The boundaries of Downtown Jackson Business Improvement District are: George Street (North), Jefferson Street (East), Court Street (South), and Mill Street (West).

The boundaries of Belhaven Heights are: Fortification Street (North), Greymont Avenue/Museum Trail (East), George Street/High Street (South), and State Street (West).

This change could cause some Jackson residents to have new council representatives and voting precincts.

The sidewalk that connects St. Charles Avenue to Robinson Street is now clean and clear, and students have better access to and from school thanks to the volunteer work of Jackson residents and local leaders and businesses.

The Jackson Neighborhood Engagement Support Grant funds Jackson neighborhoods to cover a neighborhood meeting or event expense. The $100 one-time use grant will be awarded to 10 Jackson neighborhoods that are engaging their residents within the city limits of Jackson.

The University will use this plan for historic preservation and revitalization efforts for JSU, West Jackson, and the City of Jackson.

Colonial Heights West, located in West Jackson on the Capitol Street corridor across from the Jackson Zoo and Livingston Park, is working to strengthen its neighborhood by building relationships with city leaders and community organizations. These efforts are focused on accessing necessary resources and information to improve the area.

Kelly joined JAN about two months ago to leverage her urban planning and public policy background, aiming to bridge the gap between technical expertise and grassroots community advocacy.
